Originally from Oak Park, Illinois (an historic district that includes the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio) Dan’s artistic journey eventually lead him to New York City where he studied at the renowned School of Visual Arts.

In the studio and on the street he developed his visual language, directly drawing the world around him. The New York experience, as well as studying under Jack Potter and John Ruggeri, helped foster a keen eye and expressionistic line, found in all his work.

Over the last decade plus, Dan has worked with some of the largest magazines in the world, both as an illustrator and an agent. Working for the largest commercial artist agency he represented close to 100 artists including Jack Davis and Drew Struzan.

The art you see here is a result of Dan’s commitment to draftsmanship combined with his unique vision.  Please contact him for more information or to work with him on a project.
